David Camejo, M.D.

Meet Dr. Camejo

David Camejo, M.D. is a board-certified, fellowship-trained ophthalmologist at Sabates Eye Centers, serving patients in Kansas City. He specializes in cataract surgery and vitreo-retinal surgery.

Dr. Camejo graduated medical school from University of Missouri-Kansas City, where he received a number of awards including the Fundamentals of Medical Practice Honors. He completed his ophthalmology residency at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, where he also served as chief resident. He completed his Vitreo-Retinal Fellowship at University of Missouri-Kansas City.

Dr. Camejo has various publications regarding diseses of the retina. He is involved in multiple clinical trials including trials for diabetic macular edema, retinal vein occlusion, and macular degeneration.

Dr. Camejo is a member of the America Academy of Ophthalmology. He is also proficient in Spanish.
