Meet Dr. Baumfalk

Ramona Baumfalk, O.D. is an optometrist at Sabates Eye Centers, serving patients in Kansas City. She specializes in low vision rehabilitation and ocular disease.

Dr. Baumfalk earned her Bachelor of Science in cell and molecular biology from Missouri State University. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree with special honors in clinical care from Illinois College of Optometry, where she also completed her low vision rehabilitation and ocular disease residency.

Prior to joining Sabates Eye Centers, Dr. Baumfalk practiced at several eye care centers in the Kansas City area. She has been the recipient of numerous awards including VISTAKON Student Fellowship, a Marchon Eyewear Practice Management Award, and the Derrald Taylor Low Vision Award honors in clinical care from ICO two years running.
