COMPREHENSIVE OPHTHALMOLOGIST SPECIALIZING IN THE TREATMENT OF MEDICAL AND SURGICAL DISEASES OF THE EYE AND VISUAL SYSTEM.
Dr. Timothy Walline received his Bachelor of Science degree from Creighton University with magna cum laude honors and his medical degree from the University of Nebraska College Of Medicine. He completed both his internship and his residency in ophthalmology at the UMKC School of Medicine, where he was chief resident during his final year. Dr. Walline specializes in cataract surgery. He is also the faculty member primarily responsible for teaching cataract surgery to resident physicians at the Eye Foundation.
He has been on the faculty of the Department of Ophthalmology at the UMKC School of Medicine since 1994, where he is an assistant professor of ophthalmology, as well as director of general ophthalmology services. He was awarded “Teacher of the Year” by the resident physicians of the UMKC Department of Ophthalmology for 2005-2006 and 2010-2011.
Dr. Walline has been privileged to participate in missionary eye care in underdeveloped countries and he looks forward to pursuing this endeavor in the future. He is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
